We are proud to offer a world-class intensive program for qualified students who wish to pursue serious training in the Circus Arts. Intensive students will be provided with the opportunity to work with the highest qualified instructors in each discipline, attend workshops and learn about the industry beyond the skills taught on the equipment. Intensive students have many opportunities to be cast in community events, international circus festivals, TEDx talks, Circus Lab productions, theatrical shows, as well as television and media projects.
FOCUS OF STUDIES
Our Intensive program offers students the opportunity to customize a program based on their interests and desire to specialize.
Training options include:

- hand-to-hand partner acrobatics
- duo trapeze
- aerial cube
Aerial classes focus not only on developing static skills but also on techniques for working with spinning and swinging apparatus as well as mounts and dismounts.
Students also part-take in act-development, performance, artistry, drama, acting, rigging, nutrition and stage-presence training, and more taught by regular or guest instructors.
Intensive students are the first to be cast or auditioned for film, television, media, community productions, in-house shows, Blink Acro professional shows (senior students), and any other event requiring student participation.
Competitions and Festivals
Intensive students may recieve opportunities to present their work at local and international circus festivals.
Television and Media
Intensive Program students recieve opportunities to work with various television and media programs, allowing them to build experience with commercials, reality television talent shows, live televised events, newscasts, interviews, documentaries, and more.
Circus Lab Productions
The intensive students also have the opportunity to showcase their own work as well as staff-choregraphed acts throughout the year in Circus Lab - directed in-house or community productions.
Year-Round Admission is available.
Admission to the intensive program is by audition only. Auditions can be obtained through inquiry or by instructor recommendation. Circus experience is not necessary, although a background in gymnastics, cheer, vaulting, dance etc is beneficial.
The audition assesses:
- hand-eye coordination
Students aged 11 and up who show not only physical aptitude but also commitment to training in the circus arts, an open mind to creativity and self-expression on stage, and a strong desire to learn are accepted on a year-round basis. There is no maximum age limit for acceptance.
